Dear Reader,
You must dig constantly for meaning in the sorrow of this life, and that this sorrow must galvanize you, and not define you. I want you to read it again and let it sink.
Our generation never had to cross rivers to attend school just like our fathers did. Their struggle has been for survival whereas ours, Ours has been for recognition and fulfillment of aspirations. All of us really had a difficult childhood, some got bullied, some never stepped out of the society's weighing scale, some had been abused as a child, some are still not over that one pretty face and some got trodden before they could be found. While most of us had pretended to think about these things as just nightmares, some of us have been defined by these.
Maybe now you'll understand why I started with that sentence. Imagine yourselves trapped in the house of mirrors and each reflection is from your different timeline. What do they tell you? Have you grown at all, after all?

देख आज तू भी वहीं है और मै भी यही हूं
बस ये दिन, राते, महीने और सालो के फासले हैं
तेरा है ये आसमां फिर क्यों कमरे में कैद है

जब खिलखिलाती वो हसीं चौक तक सुनाई देती थी

टोका था तुझे जाते हुए की इन गलियों से दोबारा मत गुजरना
तुझे तो मेरी हर हिदायत सिर्फ एक मजाक नजर आता है ।
तो जब हर फैसला बिन सोचे समझे लेने कि आदत ही पड़ गई है तुझे
तो अब तू ही बता, मै दूर से सिर्फ देखू तुझे और जलते हुए
या कभी इजाज़त लेकर तुझे जोड़ने की कोशिश भी किया करु
क्यों इंतजार में है किसी और के, इस हवा का रुख बदलने के लिए
मेरी नज़रों से देख, तेरे लिए सिर्फ तू ही काफ़ी है
तेरी खवाइशें इस आसमां में उड़ने कि हैं
किसी ज़मीं पर चलने वाले को कैसे ही समझ आएंगी
अफसोस बस इतना है कि तुझे उड़ने से रोकने वाला कोई और नहीं
अब बस तू ही है !! अब बस तू ही है !!
